It has been our pleasure to preserve and maintain the two existing ecotourism products, namely Masakala Guest House and Mehloding Adventure Trail, develop an efficient and functional sustainable business, identify other ecotourism products for development, provide sustainable income opportunities, improve the livelihood of rural people through sustainable employment, securing financing, managing and managing income, environmental protection and capacity building of any project.

Established in 2002, the Mehloding Community Tourism Trust (MCTT) is a beacon of sustainability in the Eastern Cape region. Our trust was established with the aim of harnessing the potential of ecotourism for poverty alleviation while protecting the natural and cultural heritage of our region.
